Rising to an altitude of 1379 metres, Le Salève attracts a great number of visitors all year round, flocking up to the summit to take in the view. This emblematic mountain, nicknamed "Geneva's balcony"

Le Salève has over 250 km of marked hiking trails and lots of walking paths for all levels, so anyone who loves a good ramble is simply spoiled for choice. You can also go opt for guided hikes accompanied by donkeys: it's an ideal solution for families who want to go out walking together without worrying about the children getting too tired.
When Le Salève dons its white winter clothes, the hiking season continues with snowshoeing, alongside a whole range of winter sports.

Aside from hiking, there's a plethora of different sports and fun activities awaiting you in Le Salève.
Le Salève is, in fact, the very birthplace of French rock-climbing, and its rocky cliffs present a wide variety of rock-climbing routes for all levels.
Le Salève is also a highly renowned paragliding spot. There are all sorts of paragliding activities on offer, from tandem flights to advanced courses.
And lastly, for all you adrenalin-seekers out there, there's a whole heap of downhill mountain biking trails!
